Full terms
1. What "as agreed" means
Before we start building, we both sign a short Scope Document. It lists:
- the task or tasks the automation performs, step by step;
- the systems, websites and files it works with;
- what goes in and what comes out;
- when and how often it runs;
- how we will both check that it works (the acceptance checks).
This guarantee covers exactly what is written in your signed Scope Document.
2. When the 30 days start
On the go-live date: the day we hand the automation over and it starts running on your real work.
3. How to make a claim
Within 30 days of go-live, contact us by email at automation@botengine.io or on WhatsApp at +20 150 150 9852, and include:
- your company name;
- the name of the automation;
- what isn't working as agreed (a screenshot or an example helps us fix it faster).
4. What happens next
- We confirm we received your claim within 2 business days.
- We work on it at no cost within 10 business days, or a longer period if you agree to it.
- If the automation still doesn't pass the acceptance checks in your Scope Document after that, we refund you.
5. What you get back
The full amount you paid Bot Engine for that automation: the build and setup fee, plus any support or subscription fees you prepaid for it. We send the refund within 14 days of approving your claim, using the original payment method or a bank transfer.
Some costs are paid to other companies on your behalf, such as software licences, servers or paid online services. If we can't get these back, they can't be refunded. We always tell you about them in writing before we buy them.
6. What the guarantee doesn't cover
- Work that isn't in the signed Scope Document, or changes you request after it's signed. We handle these as change requests.
- Changes on your side after go-live that stop the automation from working, for example a new version of a system, a redesigned website, changed passwords or permissions, or a new file format. Our maintenance plans cover these updates; they are not a reason for a refund.
- Problems outside our control, such as a website or a government or bank portal being down, internet or power outages, or another company blocking access to its service.
- Input data that doesn't match the format agreed in the Scope Document.
- Accounts or access that you agreed to provide but that weren't available.
- Changes to the automation made by anyone other than Bot Engine.
7. After a refund
We stop the automation, remove it from your computers or cloud account, and delete any logins or access you gave us. Your data remains yours.
8. Other terms
- One refund per automation.
- The guarantee applies to the company that signed the Scope Document and can't be transferred.
- If your signed agreement with us includes different guarantee terms, the signed agreement applies.
- This guarantee doesn't limit any rights you have under applicable law. It is part of our Terms of Service.
